Have you ever wondered how people feel on Twitter? Yes, it is a social updating website which does not only updates by the second but has millions of users worldwide. With this, anonymity is a common trait. But it will not hurt if you watch the trends on what certain stuff people love or hate and what are they currently thinking about. Twistori will give you an updating overview on this.

What does this track?

This website tracks certain keywords on Twitter then displays them. These keywords are “I love”, “I hate”, “I think”, “I believe”, “I feel” and “I wish”. From these keywords, the website creates an updating screen. It is kind of like an real-time rss feed.

How is this site useful?

Well aside from entertainment, the main purpose of this site is not clearly defined. Knowing what others think and believe in will not really contribute to any trend unless one has the time to watch the updates and pick up names or keywords worth promoting for a website. But then again, this site has no statistical measure to claim that one topic dominates over the other. It merely keeps track.

Disadvantages I have found

Well of course this site has really no use to anyone except if one has the luxury of time to sift through the updates. It did not sort out the information nor make sense of it. It just created another sub-Twitter where the updates that has “I love”, “I hate”, “I think”, “I believe”, “I feel” and “I wish” are recorded.

Overall

Aside from being an add-on for your Mac, Twistori has no real purpose in my opinion. If only they can add more features like turning it into something like Google Trends, then the site will be more valuable to Twitter users. Besides, why would anyone spend time on Twistori watching what people love, hate and wish? It is a waste of time if you will ask me but it is an interesting and unique Twitter app.
